Hello i recently bought a pc with a VGA Geforce GTX660 TI
when i play any game it randomly crashes sometimes. i downloaded msi afterburner and set my fan speed atomatic so it atomaticly goes harder is my pc gets to hot. but sometimes it just randomly crashes and i get to see a randomly colored screen.
personaly i think the problem is because my fan on the graphicscard is spinning to hard. cause when i dont put the automatic speed of the fan on it never crashes(but it does get very hot so i cant play long with that).
a friend recomended me to underclock my graphics card a bit, but how do i do that and how much do i have to downclock it

Solution
When you say your PC doesnt get hotter than 70c, is that the CPU or GPU or motherboard you are referring to?
Also, what is the make and model of your power supply?
