Hello, so I recently built my new computer with an Nvidia GeForce GT 730 2GB and an Intel Pentium G3258, and from videos that i've seen, I should be able to play games like Battlefield 4 on Ultra settings on 50 - 60fps. Well for some reason, games like Call Of Duty: Black Ops II run 60fps on low settings and drop down to 45fps on more intensive maps, but this is not an extremely intense game. Is my Multi-Core CPU causing this? Please help!!!

Solution
yeah, oc the cpu and get a better gpu. although, consider upgrading the cpu also in the near future. lots of games now that takes advantage of quads

Because I have watched people make videos playing Battlefield 4 with this CPU and GPU playing on Ultra with mostly above 50 fps

is the cause my dual core CPU and should upgrade to a quad?

your cpu is actually below the games minimum specs, so how do you think it will run it on ultra? and just because you saw it on youtube doesn't mean a things as anyone can make a video and say anything, and misleading unexperienced people seems to be fun for some of the posters. also your videocard is not a real good gaming card, it is entry level for that series.

i have played hundreds of hours on bf3 bf4, spanning a few upgrades along the way. sorry, but ultra is not possible on your setup. 730 is just too slow. just compare the price, those that are like 5 times as much can hardly give >60fps (it will dip from time to time). so a 730 can't cut it.
you'll have to get something a lot better, sorry
