Some background: I have a MSI 1761 that originally came with a GTX 570m and Windows 7. I upgraded to a 770m, which worked fine, but I had to manually edit the .inf driver files to update the drivers (Pain in the butt). I upgraded to Windows 10 and my graphics card no longer shows in device manager, but instead there is the "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter." Looking at the hardware ID's tells me that this is probably the 770m under a different name, I copy the Harware ID into the new 355.98 driver and, yay!, the driver recognizes the card. Unfortunately, a few seconds into the install, I get an error message saying that the display driver failed to install.

Any ideas?
