Hello, I just purchased this HP Pavilion (yes I know its a crappy pc). Can someone please recommend a VGA + DVI graphics card to install in this PC (see link below). thank you!

http://

I need dual monitors and have not upgraded to HDMI yet. My old PC was a HP Pavilion as well that ran Win 7 and the card I installed was a Galaxy GeForce 9500 GT.

That looks like a mini itx tower. You may not be able to get a graphics card in that unit on account it's just too small. You'll have to open it up and take measurements. And even then it's power supply is likely to weak to support anything worth while.

I was able to get the old Galaxy GeForce 9500 GT card in there but the new PC wouldn't take it (so it definitely fit). I was thinking I just need to install the drivers for the old card in the new pc but the old card is DDR2 so i'm not even sure if I can use DDR2 on the new PC.

Were you looking for gaming or just to run two monitors?

Although it is a small case, if you want gaming performance you could go for a GTX 750ti slim which I'm quite certain should fit but you should measure anyways. Something like a Galaxy GTX 750ti Slim will give you multiple screens and both DVI and VGA ports but you only get 3 ports (DVI, VGA, HDMI) so that could be a bit restrictive.

Otherwise, you could probably go for something like a GT 730 which is cheaper but definitely not gaming.

Assuming that your PC gets enough ventilation, I think your PC is actually decent.

NOT a gamer. Just email ebay youtube browsing etc. But I need 2 monitors, I can't work with just one. and I got the PC for $300 new shipped so I couldn't pass it up. ;)

Bargain for $300. In that case, a GT 730 is probably your best bet since it's the cheapest Nvidia card which supports dual monitors and most AMD cards are either more expensive or don't support dual monitor for that price (at least that I can find).

UPDATE: Make sure it is a slim version if you do indeed buy one because there are full size versions which will not fit in your case

I was able to get the old Galaxy GeForce 9500 GT card in there so i'm not that worried about size. should the GT 730 be DDR3 (only)?

There is a 1GB DDR5 version and a 2GB DDR5 version. From what I can find, EVGA offers a low profile DDR3 version and Galaxy offers a low profile DDR5 version although any brand that offers the card in a low profile version with the ports you need will do. You should get the DDR5 version if possible but since you're not gaming, either will be fine.
