If a case can fit 2 120mm fans, does it mean it's also compatible with 240mm fans?

I'm planning on buying a DEEPCOOL TESSERACT BF case but I want my case to be able to have a 240mm fan. The top and side of the tesseract can have 2 120mm fans but it wasn't mentioned in the description that 240mm fans are compatible. Since 120 + 120 = 240, does this mean that 240mm fans are compatible?

P.S.
Where is the ideal location for a 240mm fan? Top or side? Is a liquid cooler intake or exhaust?

UPDATE:
I think my question is all wrong. When I said 240mm fan, I was actually referring to a 240mm radiator for a liquid cooler. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Still a noob at anything computer related

Your math is off. Two 120cm fans installed next to each other amounts to 240cm wide by 120cm high.

You would need space to install four 120cm fans to be able to use a 240cm fan.

And to be honest, I do not believe I have ever seen a fan intended for use inside of a computer case that was larger than a 140cm fan.

^ You forget about 180 and 200mm fans? 180s aren't as common (mostly Silverstone), but 200s have been around forever, particularly on Cooler Master cases, and Phanteks has been using them as front intakes with their new mid/full towers.

Generally yes, if you have the right amount of fan mount spaces, then a radiator of the same size should fit, however keep in mind that with a closed-loop cooler you also have to consider the slight bulk of the radiator's plenum, which can make it not fit in a space was meant to hold nothing larger than a standard-sized fan. Just from looking at images of the case, I'm not 100% sure if the radiator will fit on the top, but it will definitely fit on the two 120mm spaces on the side of the case.
