Hey there, Konstantin_Kevin!

This seems rather unfortunate, indeed! I'd recommend you to try using a different SATA cable with your HDD and even try plugging it to a different SATA port on the motherboard. Another thing you could try in order to determine the source of the issue is to plug the hard drive to a different computer and see if it will get properly recognized there.
I'd also check your PC manufacturer's website for any SATA controller updates for your model.

Give it a try and keep me posted! :)

@SuperSoph_WD hello and thanks for the reply ! But i dont know which one is the SATA cable that you mean . its wrapping really well inside this Monitor of mine( CPU component inside monitor since its All in One PC ) . i dont think it can be detached ( the HDD ) and move to other computer CMIIW . Thanks !

That's very unfortunate, Konstantin_Kevin! In this case, I guess the best thing to do is to turn to your All-in-one PC manufacturer's customer support for assistance or to a professional PC repair service. I believe those guys there might be able to help you with the replacement, but if the HDD is dead, you'd need to get it replaced. Do you have the Windows Installation CD? If your DVD-ROM is still properly detected, you could try booting from it to troubleshoot.
Another way to check up on the HDD would be to use a DOS version of a hard drive diagnostic tool. This way you'd be able to test the health and SMART status without booting into any OS. Search your HDD manufacturer's website for such a utility.

Hope it helps. Let me know how it goes!
