I want to decide whether to take a 960gtx or a 970gtx given the resolution im gonna be playing is 1920*1080p and i dont know if i will be able to choose with fxaa and AA on or off if there isnt a mayor difference in playing...I have a general 220-250 to spent eyros here in grece those 5 gtx 960 seem very similar... and i have read tons of reviews for them and cant decide whether to choose
Evga,Palit,Gigabyte,Msi,Gainward.

My main concern is if this High End Gpu will became Mid Range any time soon with direct x12 (Average G3D Mark for 950gtx 5988) and so it loses value for money...
Currently all these brands are between 202-251 euros... I have Sorted them to Highest to lowest CPU Clock Ratio but i cant decide whether or not those specs arent actually fake or the passmark of one of these is dramaticaly best than the other...

Apart from that i currently have an Ati MSI HD 4670 1gb GDDR3
which is a highly reliable GPu as i have washed it under a normal runnin water and it didnt had electric problems and its been 7 years i believe since i bought it so its time for upgrade..

And the last part.. all are 2gb apart from Gigabyte which is 4Gb ... Now The variables for the comparisment are Value for Money(Most Performance for the buck),and then whether to go for a 4gb or a 2gb 960 or wait for X-mas and buy a 970 if it is near 250-270 eyros..
Apart from that i hear myths about Gigabyte has cooler running temps and backplates and Etc... So to decide the winner, i must select the most well built card and not the fastest performing if it is for 2-3 fps more..i have a 100hz monitor.... Now let's compare and decide to make 2-3 winners... 1 winner for Value for Money
1 Winner for Performance
1 Winner Overall for the future (probably the 4gb) if not planing an upgrade for another 5 years

EVGA GeForce GTX960 2GB FTW ACX 2.0+ (02G-P4-2968-KR) 251Euro

you gotta be realistic. each DX generation, the first cards of said DX generation suck ballz. so if you're planning to buy a card NOW because of it's DX12 features, you'll end up disappointed. massive improvement comes on the 2nd gen onwards.

focus on the now.

having said that, a gtx960 (i currently own 1) just doesn't cut it for 1080p gaming, especially for new titles. now bear in mind gpu requirements go upwards.

if you can shell out some bucks for the 970, go get it.
