New SSD not seen?

I just bought Samsung Evo 500GB ssd. Im planning to put it in my laptop. I have lenovo z51. The problem i have is that the only way to get to bios or boot order is through windows. I have to type in "Recovery and choose restart to go to BIOS" If i take the hdd out and put fresh ssd i wont be able to get to windows to go to BIOS. How can i install windows on SSD without choosing the boot oder.

If i put fresh ssd in the system windows wont load because winodws is not on it. If i put a cd init it wont boot because the boot order is not set to dvd.? Help!

I'm not sure about the Z51, but my friends Yoga 3 has a button on the side which you have to press to get into the bios. Yeah, they sometimes do things weird over there. That being said, to enter the bios on power on:

Power up the machine.
Start hitting F2 repeatedly.

The machine does boot pretty quickly - might have to try a few times.
