Some of my games like guild Wars 2, Borderlands and Wildstar are lacking.

I really dont no why?? Geforce Experience are suggesting I run all of them on ultra.

I'm talking about huge framerate drops in games which doesn't require much power to run as the games listed above. I can play the wicher 3 and Metal Gear 5 on Ultra with a steady 60 fps no problem. GTA IV also suffers from the framrate drops :/

Hope one of you can help me, because I don't have a clue what is causing the lag.

Motherboard: MB1155 Gigabyte GA-z68ap-d3

Not sure how well those games you are having problems with use multiple threads. What is the CPU usage of all threads when this happens. Wondering if the single thread performance of your CPU is struggling to keep up with the 980Ti. Might not be this but that's my first thought

It is odd about some of the other games running so it is unlikely that it's the overall problem. Maybe a defrag would be a good idea.

The defrag seemed to have worked a little, but still seeing fps drops. Some of the cpus threads are reaching 95% in guild wars 2. The only game I tested so far.
