I just got my OS installed on my PC I built and I can't get any drivers installed. Everything I'm finding says to update my drivers from the internet but the internet isn't working because I'm missing the necessary driver...
I've got an Ethernet cable plugged right into the back of my PC and I know it works because I just unplugged it from my smart TV which has internet when it gets jacked in.
How to I get all my drivers installed?

You just need to load the ethernet networking driver first. The motherboard came with a driver CD. While most of those drivers are pretty old, they should work. Just pop the ASUS disk in that came with the motherboard. Windows will ask you what you want to do with the disk, so tell it to play (autorun) it.

A menu should pop up from ASUS that lists the manuals and drivers for that motherboard. If you are new to building computers, it is probably best if you just install all of the drivers. Keep track of which ones get installed, because several of them will want to reboot the computer right after they are installed.

After you have installed all of the drivers, and rebooted a few times during the process, your internet, sound, and...

Yeah welcome to building a new PC. This happens sometimes. If you have a DVD drive install the on board ethernet drivers from a disk so you have acsess to the internet to get other drivers. If you have another PC (I would assume you do) Grab an ethernet driver from that and put it on a USB stick and transfer it over.

After you have installed all of the drivers, and rebooted a few times during the process, your internet, sound, and everything else should basically work. After that, you can use Windows Update to get the latest drivers (or close enough to the latest).
