Recently i get this whenever i try to connect to my home network, the connection itself comes up as limited with 3 bars of strength, i get the error whenever i run the troublshooter. i have already tried command prompt: ipconfig /release and /renew, ive also tried ipconfig /flushdns and still nothing. This is happening on windows 8.1

Limited connectivity normally indicates you are not getting an IP address. Are you getting a proper IP or a private IP? Most home setups with a router will give something line 192.168.x.xxx some may have 10.10.xx.xxx.

If you are not getting a proper IP you will be limited. This can happen if your router needs a power cycle or if your wireless security code/key has been changed or entered incorrectly sometimes.
