So I'm new to gaming on a pc (long time consel player) and fairly new to building a computer. I bought a prebuilt pc from cyberpowerpc.com, its a basic build i believe nothing fancy. It came with a Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 motherboard with 8g of ram, amd fx 4300 cpu 3.8ghz (not sure if thats overclocked or not) 480w psu and little R2 200 gpu. I plan on upgrading this however and want to know if it will be a decent build to run some games on 1080p if not better or ultra settings. Things I'm wanting to do is first swap out the gpu for a GTX 760, corsair 750w for the psu and up the ram to atleast 16g (most likely never use that much but always good to have I assume). Then replace the cpu fan with a evo 212. I want to upgrade to a r9 390 in the future and also the cpu to maybe a fx 8350 but that will come in due time. So my question again is with what I want to add to my computer will it be a decent machine to run games at ultra settings?

I'm definitely going change out the psu, that is one of the first things im going to do. Would a fx 8350 cpu be a good addition? Or would it be more pratical to spend a little less and get a fx 6300. I want try and stay away intel i5,i7 and such mainly because they are so expensive. Maybe in time though.

Multitasking maybe a little bit not too much, as far video editing no. Im not planning on doing that anytime soon. I was mainly concerned with the cpu because I want to eventually want to upgrade my gpu to a R9 390 but do not want my cpu to bottleneck it. At the moment though I think im going to go with a GTX 750 ti ftw. Just untill i can afford to put together a strong pc.
