Hey guys. My buddy and keeps saying that his rig is better than mine. I don't really care what he says but its kind of getting annoying when he doesn't even know if that's true and he's busting ballz like that. So first I want to know if its true or not in reality. Then I'll know if I can whack him with some cold hard facts lol. Please tell me 1)what system is better for gaming then 2) which is better for OC'ing:

#1:

Intel i5 4440 3.1 GHz (Quad)
8GB DDR3
1500GB 7200rpm HDD
2x Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950
850w TT PSU
MSI B85-G41
Win 8.1

#2:

AMD FX-8320 3.5 GHz (Octo)
8GB DDR3
1TB 7200 HDD
120GB SDD
x1 Sapphire Radeon R9 380 Nitro
Corsair CX600
MSI 970A-G46

Thanks in advance.

The i5 is much stronger than the FX8320. The i5 would not bottleneck two 7950/280.

The biggest problem with build #2 is that motherboard is terrible so I doubt the FX8320 would even run at full speeds under load much less at overclocked speeds.

Of course that B85 motherboard is going to bottleneck two 7950s more than any cpu would.
