I need a graphics card that will max all games at 1080p

I have to ask, did you search at all before you made this post?
not against you , I see a lot of posts where a simple google search would have given you the answer.
but to max EVERY 1080 game at MAX MAX MAX settings with all the bells and whistles youre probably looking at a 980 ti
if you just want ultra settings without all the bells and whistles, a gtx 970 works well

1080p @ 60 FPS = GTX 970 or R9 390
1080p @ 144 FPS = GTX 980 Ti
* Personally, I gamed on a single 1920 x 1200 (60 Hz) monitor and upgraded from a GTX 970 to 980 Ti. Most people would disagree with such an upgrade, but I like everything maxed out, no matter what. Months later I upgraded my monitor to 3440 x 1440 (60 Hz).

Do you literally want to max EVERY setting? What frame rate do you want to achieve?
The GTX 970 is a good card, but it won't max every game at 144 frames-per-second. Not even a GTX Titan Z could do that as certain games are badly optimised or have a locked frame rate.

Well what games are you really playing? Games like csgo or dota 2 things like that gtx 950 or 960 but for games like FALLOUT 4 and the witcher 3 970 all the way
