Hey guys, long time no see. Referbing\building a Frankenputer for myself so I can give the little brother my G60vx.
Started out with a Dell Insperon 4100 case, and have put an older coolermaster 550W with analog watt gauge in one of the 3.5 front display areas. It'll get green plastidiped and I'll be JBwelding a couple carriage bolts to the side, sanding, then doing the plastidip.
ANYWAYS. The MB is an IPIBL-LB (Benicia) out of a junk HP that I had laying around, and a Q9650 running @ 4.25 GHZ. Looking to put this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012NOWERC?ref_=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t in it.
But eyeballing it, the ram DIMMS look like they would get in the way. I was wondering if anyone in the community had any experience in installing larger video cards in this MB, or would I have to go for the much smaller of the EVGA 960s to get it to fit?
