Best PC Screen Recorder?

Hi, I want to know what the best screen recorder there is for recording games. I want to it to be able to record my mic and save it separately from the video file. I want to be able to set a custom part of the screen to record. And I want to be able to pause my recordings whilst in the middle of recording my game (if this is possible). Thanks!

My friend recommend shadowplay. Is that good or no.

I haven't really messed with Shadowplay as much, but from what I have learned, it does its job.

You do need a NVidia GTX 600 series GPU or higher to be able to use Shadowplay. I forgot what were the requirements were for laptops. XD
