So, I am in the market for a new budget monitor that I will primarily use for gaming. I have the option to choose between:

A) 24" 50-76hz (assume that means can run at 76hz?) 2ms screen, or

B) 25" 50-76hz 5ms screen

C) 27" monitor, 5ms response time, 50-75hz refresh rate ($100 extra)

So I was wondering whether the extra size or the lesser response time is more important in gaming, and whether I would even remotely notice a 3ms difference?

Both these monitors are very similarly priced.

Solution
Really depends on yourself. I use a 27" screen and like it alot. Only have to get used to the bigger size.

Ignore the response time on monitors as long as it stays under 6ms (1-5ms), because every manufacturer tests differently. A ms1 monitor from manufacturer X could be the same as a ms5 monitor from manufacturer Y. So dont rely on these numbers. :p

Just choose the size you prefer. (27" in my case)
But most people prefer 24" i think. :)
