Recently bought a new Logitech C525 HD webcam. When trying to install using the Logitech Webcam Software it says that it detects the webcam, but at the end it shows me this screen:
So I get no picture from my webcam and the microphone isn't detected either. Once I open the webcam software all I get is a black screen. Sometimes the software just crashes. Same with open broadcaster software (which I want to use it for) or http://www.testmycam.net/ . Now the funny thing is, the webcam works when I use the windows 8.1 camera app or Skype. And when I tried to install it on my laptop which uses windows 8.1 as well, it worked just fine.
I already asked on the Logitech forum and googled a lot but nobody seems to be able to help me out there. I tried clean booting and then installing the software, only plugging in the camera when the installer asks me to do so, but it's still the same result.
