Hi guys, I would like to know your opinion about two notebooks. Now I have Toshiba and i have a chance to exchange it for sony vaio if I add like 80$. I want to know, what of these notebooks will perform better in games?

Toshiba specs:
i5-3210M 2,50GHz
4GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7670M 2GB
15.6'' 1366x768 display
1TB HDD

SONY Vaio specs:
i7-2630QM 2GHz
8GB RAM
Nvidia GT 540M
16.4'' 1080p 75Hz (i think it is IPS panel), it has also some 3D functions from Nvidia
Blu-Ray
Backlit keyboard
HD Webcam

If some of you need more info than don´t hesitate to ask me.
Thanks

the 7670m is a slightly better GPU in most games, about 10%, but the Vaio is a better laptop. Sometimes the GT540m is faster, just depends on the game and the settings. Honestly, they are both pretty weak for playing games, a slightly faster snail doesn't really matter. I would take the Sony, it will be nicer for everything else you want to use the laptop for.

thx for answer. I know that it is weak for games and I realy like the Sony and I need something before I buy my gaming rig in next 3 months. So even the better components with GT540m doesn´t help in games in comparison to 7670M?

No, the CPU is not a throttle in either, the GPU is holding you back. The extra RAM in the Vaio might help, depends on the game. Newer ones will use 4+ GB of RAM.
