I am very new to the whole pc thing. I have very little experience. I am wanting to build a gaming pc that is not the expensive. These are the parts I am looking at. ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard, EVGA GeForce GTX 950 Ref Graphics Card 02G-P4-2951-KR, Corsair CX600 CP-9020048-US 600W Power Supply, and AMD FX 4-Core Black Edition FX-4300, FD4300WMHKBOX. I was thinking of getting Battlefield 4. Could it run it?

I am in the USA. My budget is around $500. What level of settings can it go to on Bf4 (like medium, high, or ultra high)?

I am torn now. I was talking to a friend and he said that I can't get an equality pc for $450. I have done some research and I think things could run games the same as a ps4: XFX RADEON R7 260X 1075MHz 2GB DDR5 DP HDMI 2 X DVI Graphics Card (R7260XCNF4), EVGA 500 W1 80+, 500W Continuous Power, 3 Year Warranty Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR, WD Blue 1TB Desktop 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm Internal Hard Drive, GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XM-D3H FM2+ AMD A88X (Bolton D4) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard, and AMD Athlon X4 860K Black Edition CPU Quad Core FM2+ 3700Mhz 95W 4MB AD860KXBJABOX. Or should I get a alienware alpha? Sorry, I know I am a major noob at this whole thing.

Building your own computer is easy. Building it takes 2-3 hours, and installing windows takes about 30mins to 45mins, and after that downloading and installing drivers takes another 30-45 mins. After all that, have it download windows updates at night, it may take a 2-4 passes to get them all.

Installing Windows:

Protip for installing drivers safely, install them one at a time and restart the computer after each install to avoid breaking the OS, which can happen if you try to install them all at once.
