whether the change of processor is possible ?

I have a intel(R) pentium(R) dual with 64 bit operating system and i want to change the processor to i5 as the current processor does not support the virtualization so can i upgrade it ..is it possible and how much its worth of?

Its not soldered. It uses a T2370 which is PGA so its a pinned socket not BGA which is a soldered socket.

However Acer only shipped this model with that cpu so its likely the bios doesn't support other cpus. It's definitely not going to support an i5 as this laptop...
