PCIe Gen 2 card compatibility with Intel Board

I am trying to replace a card for a friend that does quite a bit of CAD. The current board that he has is the Intel DP35DP (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/15051), which in the specs indicates a PCIe x16 slot. The board I am looking at is http://www.amazon.com/PNY-DisplayPort-Profesional-Graphics-VCQFX580-PCIE-PB/dp/B0023B133W. Can anyone tell me if this board will work with his motherboard?
