I have a client that has purchased all of the employees 4 4K Monitors for each of their machines. Well they want to utilize the full resolution on the monitors.

We've got a budget of $300 and it has to be a full height video card but not full length. They aren't doing anything super intensive other than opening very large PDF files and some CAD renderings of blue prints and large images.

We've tried:

* NVidia K1200 -- but they only come in low profile -- waiting two weeks to have an aftermarket full-height bracket is unacceptable and was asinine of the manufacturers to make it that way.

* Nvidia NVS510 -- It was good till several of the machines started having weird glitches.

* AMD Firepro W4100 -- Not quite 4K

I'm at a loss, and I'm coming up dry. Figured I'd ask the experts. :)

Thanks in advance.

Hold on, FOUR 4K monitors for EACH system? As in basically a 4k x 8k display stretched out? You may need to go up a bit in price for a pro card that can run that especially for manipulating CAD images without taking minutes to move a model.

Check with the video card makers and possibly the CAD program vendor for suggestions. I've worked with some pretty high end equipment (2k and 3k monitors for radiology which need very good accuracy and calibration in monitor and drivers) but don't know anyplace that has setup that many 4k displays on one system.
