How many fps would a 980ti get on 2560x1440 monitor

What graphics card would get me 60+fps?

SLI would give you roughly a 50% boost over a single GPU, but yeah... a pair of cards in SLI. This is a very demanding game and you will need to throw a lot of GPU power at it if you truly want 60FPS at 1440 resolution. Maybe start with a single Titan, then add a second in SLI when / if you need to.

Okay, thankyou, i was watching gameplay and the person was getting 50fps average, if i got 980ti superclocked would it give it a little bit of a performance boost?

I have a 980ti G1, which is one of the most overclock-able cards out there. Many people push it over 1.5Ghz. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCGcZ4ilpNU

I run witcher 3 maxed out on my 1440p monitor and it runs really smooth. Smooth to the point that I cannot tell the difference on what is smoother still ;-) .

If 44.7 is average on a 980Ti you will get about 55-60FPS on the 980ti g1 and you can still OC it by another 25% where you will get to around 65-70FPS. SLI has lots of negatives which has to be considered before investing so much money into it. I rather reduce my Anti alias from 16x to something else and run the game at 100FPS because I have a higher than 60hz montor which makes a bigger difference.

I have the MSI GTX 980Ti Gaming 6G (i7 4790k, 32Gb RAM) and a 1440p monitor. Witcher 3 runs with everything maxed out with about 55-60 fps. Sometimes it dips to 50fps in extreme situations. Nothing is overclocked except the factory overclocking in the GPU from MSI. With overclocking i think it is possible to get 60+ fps but because everything runs smoothly with my setup without it, i don't mess with it.

Is the g1 better than the overclocked version?
Also is there a card with everything the same but the looks of the evga geforce gtx 980 ti, i am going for a black and green theme but if its the best 980 ti on the market and it will get over 60 fps on games like witcher 3 ultra settings on 1440p then i guess thats the card i should go with
