Every time it freezes I have to hold the power button or press the restart button
On win 7 64bit the pc freezes on google chrome or firefox even when being idle
but in games it works fine

on win 10 pro 64bit it freezes while playing games like ac unity, arma 3, etc.
but never froze when being idle

what I tried to do :
1. updating drivers
2.overclocking at 3.5ghz and 4ghz(I don't know if I have overclocked the right way)
3.changing the cooler from cooler master hyper 103 to stock
and see if temps makes difference
4.upgrading to win 10 64bit and formatting C
5. changing cables
6.updating bios

My Specs :
FX-8320
Cooler Master hyper 103
MSI 970A-G43
2*4GB kingston hyper x 1600MHz
Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB
Western Digital 1TB blue
cooler master 650W
2 fans in front and back

Solution
This is very unfortunate, MR_MaZeN!

I think it's probably best to take your PC to a local computer repair service and let the tech gurus there do full diagnostics on your system. I'm sure after their troubleshooting, you'd be able to find the hardware component that is the source of the issue and eliminate the annoying freezes.
Just make sure you have backed up your data elsewhere beforehand!

Good luck!

Welcome to the community, MR_MaZeN!

Sorry to hear about your system issues! :( The troubleshooting that you've done so far is pretty awesome! Still I have to ask if the freezing is constant or does it happen only when you are loading a software/tranfering files/etc.? I guess you've already tried re-installing the browsers since you've formatted your C partition. Another thing you should do is check your WD Blue's health and SMART status by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostic utility. Here's a link to the software (it should be second in the list): http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=4iGCzu
I'd also recommend you to open Task Manager and see how the CPU and HDD usage is.

Keep me posted!

The freeze happens while playing games.
It didn't happen while transferring files.
It happened 2 times while loading system after the mobo logo appeared when I was on default settings on the bios
after overclocking to 4GHz it didn't freeze so far.
yes, I re-installed the browser.
in task manager cpu is from 1% to 15% when idle
the disk is 0% to 8%
I'm testing my hdd with Data LifeGuard Diagnostic now

the hdd passed all the tests

Hey there again, MR_MaZeN!

Since the freezes happen only during the gameplay, I think you might want to consider re-installing the games themselves. The usage from Task Manager seems great, the DLG tests are giving the drive a PASS, so I guess you should try doing that. However, make sure you have backed up your game saves somewhere else before re-installing the game.
You also mentioned that you've updated the drivers, but I'd recommend you to check that again and make sure you update them from the mobo manufacturer's website or the drivers pack CD that came with it, rather than Windows Updates.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!

I tried to re-install ac unity but the freeze happened again
all the drivers are updated as driver booster says
I will try to re-install all the drivers
and disable the last 4 cores and cpu smart protection

Update: nothing fixed the problem
