Is R9 270x enough for a core i5 based gaming pc?

Hello guys i am building my first gaming pc here are the specs: (i am only confused about the GPU)

PROCESSOR : CORE i5 4960k( with a good cooler)
RAM: corsair vengeance 8gb ddr3 1600Mhz
MOBO : gigabyte H81
PSU : corsair 550 or 650

so guys tell me is r9 270x gonna give me the full 60fps at ultra settings?

you want an r9 390 or a gtx 970 if you are looking for 60fps on ultra on 1080p with newer games. also make sure that corsair psu is not vs or cx series. those are not made for gaming systems.

Not much use in getting a "K" series CPU (Unlocked) with a mobo that doesn't support OC'ing.

This GB H97 mobo would be a better match for the i5 4690, but still only OC's by adjusting BClk: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4962#ov

Correction since the release of the g3258 all motherboards support overclocking any unlocked chip, of course your mileage will vary due to quality of the chipset.

Op as for the 270x, as long as you are okay with dialing back on some settings the 270x still games quite well.
