Which router should be used for the access point ?

Which router should be used for the access point ? I want to set up an access point, and have 2 routers. How do I decide which router should be the main router, and which one the access point ?
My routers are TP-Link Archer C7, and Edimax BR-6478AC.

You want the nicer router as your main one. In this setup, that is the Archer C7 (I have it). That way you are guaranteed a really good signal coming out of the main router and a better signal chance coming out of the access point.
