So I've been sitting on the preorder of GTA V, and a full edition of Arma III that I can't play, because my PC refuses to run it. (that's about $140 USD). That means it's time to upgrade my card. Right now, I have an AMD Radeon HD 7540D. My processor is a AMD A6-5400K. Does anyone have any recommendations. What do I need to, and what should I upgrade?

What is your budget? for your computer i wouldnt recomend going for anything above the gtx960, you also have to make sure your power supply is good enough for the new card.
If money isnt a problem you could just build a new computer

your cpu is not enough to run either of those games in a playable manner because it is only a two core, even if you had a nice gpu

arma 3 is so <mod edit> it has trouble running on monster rigs.

I suggest saving money for a new setup

Arma doesn't like AMD at all. GTA V is too new for most dual-core processors, especially AMD ones. I would get my money back from both of those games, put together what you got, and get a g3258 (dual-core but one of the best I've ever seen) with some r7 265 (this could max Arma 3 out with playable FPS, if you OC the CPU and use an h81m-p33 board to oc with), which will probably cost you about your budget if you use all your leftover parts (considering you have 140$ for games and ready to spend another 100$ on a GPU)

EDIT: and proceed to getting the games some other way ;)
