Graphics Adapter not working after New Install of windows on Dell Dimension 5100C

Hi. I went from Win7 to XP because my Dell Demension 5100c had a virus and it came with XP. I am running Win XP Pro x64 and in device manager it says Standard VGA graphics adapter and a triangle is beside it. Help. Thanks!

you installed XP x64? Why? lol XP was great. The 64 bit version had so little support that it was pretty bad.

The dell drivers are here but they are for 64 bit

Your chipset is a Intel 945G Express so you might be able to look for a XP x64 drive for that chipset. Looking at the Dell site will at least tell you what drivers you need to look for, for the 64 bit version.

Well I went to the dell site, got the 945G graphics driver and got this error https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3hextjFOtD1MmFQWjBhWWM1dnM

Also those drivers won't work they are for 32 bit only on the dell site. That just gives you a starting to point to look for the XP 64 bit drivers else where.

Ok I download a XP SP3 ISO from the microsoft website. Is this the full install or just the Service Pack? Also please add me on skype so we can IM: thecodfather90

If you got it off the microsoft website it is just the SP3. You want to try to find the Dell Branded disk. If you PC came with XP it will activate automatically.

Ok so I installed regular XP got my sp2 and sp3, installed my graphics driver and it made my Pc weird. I will try to post image
