Get the 6700K; Outperforms the AMD chip by a good margin in threaded and single core tasks.

the 9590 is really inly a budget rendering chip; even then it is outshadowed by it's cheaper cousin the 8350.

Yeah AMD FX 9590 is essentially a factory overclocked FX-8350. You will pretty much require a monster power supply and cooler in order to properly run this thing. The i7-6700K is much more energy efficient and as was stated performs better in multi threaded tasks.
