i am looking to upgrade my current RAM on my build before I replace my mobo to Asus Maximus Hero VII.

I've talked to a few friends and they suggested Corsair, Kingston and Ripjaws. Corsair is not in my budget so I looked at Kingston and G.skill.

the Kingston Hyper x savage kit I am looking at is 16GB CL9 at 1866MHz: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N9PVXJK/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=5KRLFZDZL6C&coliid=I2IC0U98PWMZ9G&psc=1

While G. Skill ripjaws kit is at 16GB CL9 at 1866MHz: http://www.amazon.com/G-SKILL-Ripjaws-240-Pin-Desktop-F3-1866C9D-16GXM/dp/B008Y6T9MM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

My current mobo and Hero VII are both capable. they are also within my budget. I am unsure which one to get. Which one would give great performance and reliability out of the ones I've listed?

please help, thanks!

Hi,

They are both pretty much the same, the only different is that the ripjaws one has a slightly better heatsink (for dealing with excess heat) but for £5 extra it's not really worth the extra money.

All in all, the Kingston memory would work just as well as the rip jaws. The kingston ones are also 2 years newer than the ripjaws ones.

Hope I helped.
