hi, i am planning on making a skylake build for gaming. my plan is to use the i5 6600k. is the i5 6600k a high end cpu or only mid range and will there be a better skylake i5 coming out soon?

I also looked at the system recommendations for star wars battlefront and discovered that the recommended cpu is the skylake i5 6600k, the recommended ram is 16gb and the recommended gpu is an r9 290. does this mean that the i5 6600k and r9 390 won't be able to run games at 60fps 1080p ultra for much longer and that soon 8gb of ram won't be enough?
thanks

Solution
Let us just see how the game really performs on the PCs.
It is possible than the developer exaggerated the needed requirement a bit....
..or do not sufficiently optimize the game port on PC...it is EA afterall
EA does not care if the game can be played or enjoyable..you just have to pay dearly.

Game developers can recommend Quad SLI Titan X's and a 5960X but that doesn't mean you need it. The 6600K is efficient enough to push games for the next couple years. Period.
