PC freezes even in BIOS

Hello there,

I just read the thread with the exact same name as this one but got no answer to my problem plus this case is a little different. You see my computer's problem evolves over time.

I have had this pc for a little over 3 years. I put Mac Os on it from day one. The first year everything was smooth. It got a kernel panic twice but that was due to the fact it is a hackintosh.

The second year it started freezing. Sometimes when it would load the OS and other times hours into using it. I could live with that. After a few months it developed a pattern. It would freeze 3 times in a row at about a minute after or immediately after loading the os and then it would run fine until I would shut it down.

Then one day it froze and when I restarted it the fans started spinning very fast, 3 beeps came out of the mobo and it wouldn't load anything so I shut it down. I could not start it up so I shut if off, turned off the power from the mobo and turned it back on again. When I turned it back on, the house power mains turned off. This usually happens when you plug something that short circuits.

Eventually it started working fine again. I would get the fan/beep combo once in a while but a restart would do the job. Bear with me, I'm almost done.

The third year, my pc worked like a charm. I mean it has always worked great except for the freezes at the start up. But this time there was none of that. One day I noticed that the RAM was set at 1079mhz. The ram modules are rated at 1600mhz so I went to the BIOS and fixed that. Upon entering the BIOS i saw a message that warned me that there have been issues due to voltage changes even though I had changed nothing.

Once the pc loaded with the ram set at 1600mhz it froze. It was months that had happened last time. So I set it back at 1079. I tweaked the hackintosh settings a lot before doing that but to no avail. It also freezes again now, even though the memory is back at 1079mhz.

I attributed all of the above to the pc being a hackintosh. Untill today, when it froze in the BIOS.

The cpu temps (since a lot asked in the other similar thread) are around 60 at normal use and 90-100 when rendering stuff.
