So I have 2x4 8GB of ram CL11 2400MHZ From kingston (Hyper X Savage) but some time ago all of it just suddently starts being used for no reason at all (images attached in the post ignore the fact that windows is in Portuguese, I think you guys can understand the important parts)... My AVG 2015 doesnt detect any viruses and I also use MalwareBytes and both say im clean... What do you guys suggest for me to do?

Hey there,

First of all, run the computer in safe mode and open the task manager, see if you are still getting memory usage troubles, then we can rule out a Microsoft side issue. Could also see if there isn't a virus on your system (even though you scanned, it could be hiding somewhere)

Post back with results!

Many thanks,

I started Windows in 3 different ways and i'm providing screenshots for each one of them:
1-Safe mode (no networking)

2- Safe mode (with networking)

3- Normal boot

As we can see in the last image there is a huge difference from the first two images, plus, more or less 30-40 sec after boot there is an almost 1.5 GB ram usage out of nowhere and by checking the Processes the program that is using more RAM is Razer Synapse with a total 123.5 MB... (While im writting this the RAM usage is at 3.9 GB constant)

I am starting a full scan with AVG 2015 to both my 128 GB SSD and 1TB HDD right now

Thanks for the help :)

UPDATE:
AVG finished the scan, 2 Tracking cookie.Serving-sys found @ C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\InetCookies, both removed.
Meanwhile RAM usage went up to 5.6 GB

Running a scan with Malwarebytes too
Update #2, Malwarebytes found nothing

Updated to Windows 10 to see if the problem might have been Windows 8.1 since I read that Win 8.1 was using a large quantity of RAM in some cases... Turns out it wasn't the case :( Help me guys!
