Geforce GTX 560
Last night the GPU was acting odd.
Playing skyrim, It was modded then the PC just does its' "Restart" process, as if you hit restart in "Start"
Okay, It boots normally, It gets to the point to where the PC asks to boot normally or in safe mode etc.
Choose: to start normally
Reaction: PC monitor turns black for about 1 minute give or take, PC now does into it's restart process again. Asks to boot in safe mode or normally. This is a loop.
Reinstalled OP
Same reaction.
However I found out this only happened when I reinstalled the GPU driver.
Booted into safe mode this time.
Went to device manager and rolled back the diver for the Geforce GTX 560
Now it is the standard on-board driver I believe.
Restarted computer myself.
No issues.
We also noticed this issue came up the most playing skyrim. It was not such a huge issue before. It did it once and twice and still let us use the PC. Playing anything else like Mass Effect 3, or just using the PC normally did not result in this issue. This happened after installing some more mods, That we soon deleted them all.
We played Skyrim again and it become more of a bigger issue for myself.
Does the GPU hold config files in it's memory? If so, how can I clear out the memory?
Or is this a hardware issue?
I could try the GPU on another PC and see what happens.
