My windows 8 laptop cannot connect to the internet

My windows 8 computer was able to connect to the wifi fine, but when I turned it on tonight it says that there are no connections available. My chromebook connects to the wifi fine, and has not had problems.

Morning,

Try this resolution,

Follow the instructions and post back results.

1) Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories

2) Right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator.

3) Type netsh winsock reset in command prompt and hit ENTER button.

4) Restart the computer in order to complete the reset, after that test to access your network or Internet again.
