nzxt h440 front ios installation

im having a little trouble, my leds aint working on the case with the psu installed and i dont get why, can someone help me with a picture or something the exact way the PLED + and - sw pwr cables go exactly, doesnt matter about the usb and audio i got that, but them little ones please help ?

The NZXT H440 should have 2 LED lights installed on it. There is a 4-pin molex connector I am quite sure that powers the fans and these. Are the fans running?

i have a perif wire from the psu with female molex on them and connected it to that exact wire, and no the fans are not running, bare in mind i do not have the cpu yet but still, im getting power

If you open up the back of the case (the side panel near the back side), you should fine a 4-pin molex dangling somewhere. This powers the fan/LED hub, so connect the 4-pin molex to your PSU's 4-pin molex and the fans and LED lights will work.

I'm slightly lost. are you trying to get the Power and HDD led to work on the top or all the LEDs inside the case?

if its just the power light than you need to connect the PLED + and - sw pwr cable in the right way. Otherwise you need to open the back and connect the power cable for the LEDs

Can you post an image? Also, I'm not sure if it is related to the CPU not being in. I would just get the CPU in before anything.

There are no wires to plug into the motherboard for fans nor LEDs. It uses a hub. The 4-pin molex powers everything.

The internal speaker comes with the motherboard. It beeps and gives error codes if somethine (i.e. RAM) is wrong.

Oh, I see. That works a bit differently than mine. For me, all that stuff plugs right into the motherboard. Now that we're on the page, what is the issue with that?

That thing then should plug into the PSU I'd reckon. If you did that and it won't work, try connecting it to the motherboard and see if that works.

ok so, ive just used my 24 pin tester tool than came with the psu and all the fans, leds all shot straight on when i put the power on, but how come they are not working when the 24 pin in plugged to the motherboard ? even though the lights on the motherboard show that im getting power to it ?

That is a good question. You didn't happen to have the 24-pin cable in the wrong way did you?

Also, are you wearing an antistatic wrist band?

Hmm are you wearing socks?

You should be grounding yourself, especially when on carpet. Otherwise, you risk the chance of zapping your motherboard without realising it and, well, frying it. It is a very rare thing, but I noticed you are on carpet. I stand on carpet, but I go barefoot with flip flops when I work on my PC, and I use an antistatic wrist band connected to my other PC's steel to ground myself and prevent this from happening.

Are you wearing socks in a dry environment on carpet without any sort of grounding? What general area do you live, humid or not?
