So, I'm getting a new CPU/Motherboard for my setup and I would like some confirmation if these are compatible/ if the motherboard I have in mind is good enough.

CPU im getting: INTEL Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 Z97 DDR3 ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-Z97P-D3-LGA1150-Motherboard-USB3-0/dp/B00K9R1OCW )

Also, what cooler should I get for these two? Also the cooler should be as cheap as possible.

The CPU and motherboard should work fine together. Currently, the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO is the value king for CPU heatsinks. Working from this website can help keep costs down and ensure compatibilities https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

The Intel i7-4790K CPU is compatible with the Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 motherboard. They both are LGA1150 sockets. I am assuming you are going to be overclocking. Try the NZXT Kraken X61 liquid cooler.
