"System Reserved" showed up on fresh install of Windows 7 on new SSD. Did I mess up?

Hi folks, hoping you can help with a head-scratcher. I just installed a new SSD and put a fresh copy of Windows 7 on it, following this process:

-disconnected existing HDD with Win 7
-set boot priority to SSD
-changed to AHCI from IDE
-custom install from CD

Once the install was done, I booted to the Win 7 SSD with the HDD still unplugged. All started up fine, and I didn't check anything beyond that, so I don't know if "system reserved" was there at that point or not. I then powered down, and plugged the HDD back in so I could start transferring files. When I rebooted again, I forgot to set the boot priority back to SSD, and it booted into the previous Win 7 copy on the HDD. I can now boot to either by changing the boot priority, and if I disconnect the HDD, it boots to the SSD just fine.

My question is: should I even see "system reserved" on the SSD, and should it be 100MB?

Here is a screenshot of how this 250GB SSD looks in disk manager without the HDD plugged in, booting from the SSD. https://imgur.com/uG0K8HH

Here is a screenshot of how everything looks if I boot from the HDD with it and that SSD plugged in. http://imgur.com/Wa9hQlx

Did I mess up? Seeing as I can boot either to SSD Win 7 or HDD Win 7, should I format the SSD from within Win7 on the HDD and start over? My ultimate goal is to use the SSD as the OS, and then use the HDD as a file storage area.

Thanks!
