Advantages of Z97 chipset over H97

If you want to overclock than go with the z97 chipset and make sure you have the unlocked CPU.
Unlocked CPUs have "K" in the end. e.g. Intel i5 4690k
If you are not planning to overclock in the future than go for the h97 one.
They are the standard ones and they will serve you quite well.

Z97 and H97 are only different mainly in OC and SLI/XFire zone.
If you do not OC and plan to go multiple GPUs, H97 is good.
If you do not OC and plan to go multiple GPUs, H97 is good.

h97 are the "standard" boards ie the non overclocking and the z97 is overclocking and if you are not overclocking you might as well save yourself money and get a h97 and a locked cpu!
