which processor is better for the future?

5820K if you RENDER A LOT. 6700K if you are gaming and or render occasionally.

Depends on what you want to do with it. For gaming its the 6700k, and besides it came out on intels newest platform, and new 1151 cpus should keep coming out later on
the 5820k is for enthusiasts who use the cpus for heavely load rendering, this requires more cores not higher clocks.
So if you are an enthusiast or plan to do some 3d work on your pc, choose the 5820k, its the only choice. The x99 chip is future proof
The 6700k is only good for gaming and light rendering, its on a new chip. Its future proof
The question is what function for what, not which are better choices. Both are excellent future proof choices
