I am looking to upgrade my ancient budget gaming PC that I built as a kid. I already have 8Gb Ram, SSD, and HDD. I already picked out a new mid-tower case and a new 750w (not sure if that's going to be enough for future) corsair power supply that I wanted. Now the real question is what the best motherboard, CPU, and graphics card for under $600. I currently have a 1440p monitor.

What I am thinking about buying
fx 6300
r9 390
M5A97

My biggest concerns are bottle-necking and upgrading for the future. In a couple months I want to upgrade to either a 4k screen or 3 1080p monitors. Will this setup handle that? If not, I was thinking maybe after my Christmas bonus, Ill buy another 390 for crossfire, but then will my CPU bottleneck and will my Power supply be to little?

I don't know, what parts would you guys get for under $600 that would be good for upgrading in the future?

Crossfired R9 390's will bottleneck with an AMD FX-6300.

What Corsair PSU model are you considering? If its the CX or VS, de-consider it and we can find you another.

The R9 390 is a good 1440p/4k card, for the motherboard and processor based on your goals I would consider a new Intel setup. Such as

You'll need a 1000w+ psu for xfire 390s, if that's where you are headed, you may just as well go for a single 295x2, it'd be cheaper overall and isn't as plagued with xfire supported games.

Yeah don't buy that.

Far better:

The CX is a constant problem here on this site.
