Seeking router with long range to go to next building and through an old house

We have two buildings -- a mostly 90 year old house with a modern addition and a modern outbuilding 30 feet away. The Comcast signal comes in to the house at the corner between the new and old sections of the house on the ground floor and is about 5 feet from the exterior wall. Our current Cisco/Linksys 2.4/5 GHz router is about 3 feet in from that. That works for most of the house but not my home office (second floor, farthest possible distance from the router) so I put in D-Link AC1200 powerline connects and another Cisco/Linksys router. More importantly, the signal is really weak in the outbuilding -- often no connection on my wife's 2 year old MacBook Pro. Device usage on a typical day -- 3 laptops, 2 ipads, 2 phones, and one of two Apple TV boxes (for up to an hour or so). No gamers.

I'd love a router that will reach the outbuilding (maybe 50 feet or 55 feet from computer back to the router) and also, if possible, to the home office.

I have noticed new routers with 4 and 6 antennae and various amplifiers, with claims things like beamforming to increase range. The ASUS RT-AC68U is written up as having a good range and reviews say that the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 both has great range and weak range. One review implies that ASUS RT-AC3200 might be better than the others. Another says that Amped Wireless RTA1750 has the greatest range.

Money is not a particular object here if we can get things to work. What router or routers would you suggest to get maximum range?

Thanks for your help.
