Ram Slot Issues

I bought a new motherboard recently and a cpu as well. I kept the ram from my last build. The ram has zero issues, I used it just a few hours before replacing the motherboard. Once I placed everything together, I turned on the computer but the fans would only spin up. It Gave me the error codes c7, 00, d0, d1, and d5. I reset the cmos settings, double checked to make sure my cpu was on perfectly, and that my graphics card was working fine. After checking the ram, I noticed that the computer can boot up with all 12gbs of ram that I have installed, but that it crashed when the pc restarts for the second time after loading. I took each on off and sorta played around to see which slot worked. I found out that only the one closest to my cpu booted my pc. I found this out when it gave me an error code that said I had to boot it up with only a 4gb ram stick. After booting it up, I turned it off and put all the ram back in, but it still will not work. It is only working when I put 1 4gb ram on the ram slot closest to the cpu. I've tried draining all the power out and reseting the cmos, but still no luck. I've seen that many other people have had the same issue with this motherboard and have gotten the same errors I have gotten, yet I still haven't found an article on how they fixed it. My bios is version 1.60. How can I get my computer to work with all four ram slots?

Computer specs:
TX750W power supply
Amd Phenom II X4 955 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
12gb ddr3 (but only using 1 Corsair Vengeance 4gb ram)
Motherboard: asrock 870 extreme3
Graphics card: EVGA Geforce GTX 650ti

Solution
The DRAM has a SPD with recommended timing, the mobo BIOS reads the SPDs and does the best it can to match or config the DRAM to all the info provided, with mixed DRAM it can be very hard for the BIOS to do that. Different mobos get different amounts of attention to the BIOS. The actual physical and electrical properties of any given mobo can also affect how and whether mixed DRAM will or won't play

I have 2 4gb Corsair Vengeance ram drr3, and the other two are 2 2gb drr3 that came with the pc that I had originally purchased. I've tried using only each pair in each slot to see if maybe they just wouldn't work all together, but even placing 2 of the same kind does not boot the system. It only boots with a 4gb ddr3 ram. I've tried booting it with a 2gb but it gives me an error which I found out that it means it need 4gbs to load bios or something similar to that.

Try starting with only the Elpida and set manually to 1333, 9-9-9-26, 1.55 and set the CPU/NB voltage to 1.25, save, exit, shutdown and try adding the new. Or just try with the new at the above settings - no guarantees that the mixed DRAM will play - also chances are your 955 might not be able to run at 1600, the 965 was the first AMD CPU that could reliably run 1600 sticks

The system would not boot with 1 or 2 elpida ram sticks. However, after using one of the corsair ram sticks and setting them to 1333 and the cpu voltage to 1.25, I could then place a second ram stick on the third slot. So now I have Corsair ram stick in the A1 slot, and I can put an Elpida stick in the A2 slot, but I replaced it with the other corsair ram and now those 2 ram stick work together perfectly. It still gives me the same error of c7 d0 d1 d5 when I try adding a 3rd stick of ram.
