Have you considered this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236117 , if I have to choose among your posted monitors and with that budget in mind I would try for the BenQ GL2450H

Well if that's the case then things will look different, the BenQ RL2455HM around the web is 180$+ but if you will manage to get it under 170 then this is a pretty good deal, alright then if you are certain from the model and the price then of course buy the BenQ RL2455HM

Most of the times you won't be able to notice the tearing resulted from the response time, but if mostly you will be doing gaming and always close to your computer then Benq will be a better choice on the other hand if you also tend to watch movies, videos, etc, or having someone who plays with you then both of you will benefit from the IPS panel, so determine your priorities and make a decision, you asked for a gaming monitor and so you have the Benq, if your priority is for the IPS panel then you have the Dell.
