(First post, be careful with me guys :3)
I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card from AMD HD 6670 to a Nvidia GTX 750 Ti - and to make sure my PSU doesn't shit on me. I thinking of getting a 500w PSU with it. All i'm worried about is compatibility.

My current setup:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2320 @ 3.00GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6670
(Really bad right?)

You could render my PSU as alien. - No one I knows or understands it, plus it makes a hell a lot of a noise when I boot up my system so that has to be replaced. (It's pretty old.)

My dream setup:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2320 @ 3.00GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 750 Ti FTW

PSU: EVGA 500w PSU
(I don't have money to spend on a high end graphics card, if you have any suggestions on a budget graphics card better than this one make sure to comment!)

The real question is... will my dream setup run without "bottlenecks" and all that bad stuff? - I'm think like the 500w is too much and since my i5 is pretty old that it wont keep up with the gtx 750 ti etc... I'm quite new at this - be easy with me.

PS: Sorry if this is in the wrong forum for the topic.

Doesnt sounds like there should be much of a bottleneck there.

Just make sure you get a decent power supply. You never scrimp on a power supply. At a minimum get bronze rated 80+ and gold if you can afford it!

I had a 500W XFX power supply that started to die and I think its because I just nearly met the power requirements - aim over the 500W if you can afford it.
