Parts to Upgrade: completely new build

Do you need to buy OS: Yes Pref Win 7

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Norfolk, VA USA

Parts Preferences: I Would like a AMD mobo and CPU but not required

Overclocking: Planning on not having to OC / Only a casual gamer

SLI or Crossfire: maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1080P 1920:1080 TV

Additional Comments: Want a PC that will last me a decently long time without going obsolete.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Want to build my first gaming PC. I will also probably end up doing some recording/rendering too.

Currently I'm looking to build something decent to last me a good 5+ years without becoming useless before then. My current idea for a build is as follows

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
EVGA 220-P2-1200-X1
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler
I don't have an Idea for a GPU yet currently. Open to suggestions.

I'm looking for something around the same price as this before the GPU if that's possible. All help is appreciated as this is my first build attempt.

Solution
If you're dead set on AMD, that's one thing. However, at this current time if you're gaming the 8350 is not a good value, as the i5-4460 is only $8 more, and will perform for better in gaming.

Also, 32GB is far overkill for gaming. Even the most brand new triple a titles only ask for 16GB

I know it's overkill for gaming but I'll probably end up doing other things like recording or rendering too so that's why I picked to run the full 32GB as for the AMD vs intel part I don 't really mind having either it's just AMD is my go to for GPUs and CPUs because I've never needed anything too high end. (edited post to reflect these little things I mentioned)
