I don't know why but sometimes I have to start my computer up 2 times like computer tower lights up and then everything is black but force shut down (hold power button) then press it again comes up fine. I checked all the wires and everything is plugged in nice. Specs: i7 2600k
2 gtx 970ssc and 16gs of ram 1000 power supply windows 8.1 on a 250gb ssd. When I turn on the computer I get Post code 4F,62,A2 codes and shutting down I get 04.
These seem to be normal codes I thought I fixed this by taking out the motherboard battery but it only worked for about a week. Now when I turn on the computer it comes up as a black screen and I have to force shut down hold button down and then turn on again it it comes up fine. What should I do next to try and fix this problem?

well maybe try to replace the motherboards battery ?? maybe getting weak or going dead and causing the bios to not hold readings ??? cant hurt to try ?

onr thing I do see is these newer cards with older chipsets or chips on certain boards or cards - as in it could be a bios not updated from the board for the new cards or the cards bios maynot be compatible with the older chip

sad thing is stuff is not as plug and play anymore [it semed with sandy chips this can happen with 900 cards with out a new fresh updated bios to support the cards ]

last bios for your board was 2013??

I would try each card single one at a time to see if it will work or remove the cards and try the igp [onboard graphics] to see if it boots and runs normal with that as well o narrow down a card / cards issue??

I you google around gtx 900 cards and say like z68 with sandy chips you may find guys that could not get then to display or work with out getting a fresh new up to date bios from the manufacture for the board and these cards ??

The gpus have been tested in another rig they work flawlessly. The BIOs is the latest bios and it was the latest when I bought it I bought it about the same time as the power supply. I guess ill try putting in a new battery into the motherboard see if that might fix the problem if not i guess ill have to try to contact the mobo manufacturer
