Hello, I have been having a kernel 41 power error recently, and I have realized it was my GPU fan. While playing Minecraft maxed with shaders, Star Wars Battlefront Beta, or Shadow of Mordor, I would notice that my computer would just shut down with a black screen. When I ran afterburner during these games, my temps would skyrocket to 90 degrees Celsius, and they probably went higher when my PC shutdown automatically.

(note, it is in ultrawide so it may be difficult to read)

Specs:
i5 4690k @ 4.00ghz
MSI Twin Frozr GeForce GTX 970 4gb
8gb Kingston HyperX Fury ddr3 RAM
1tb WD Caviar Blue HDD
128gb Transcend SSD

The MSI Twin Frozr has an adjustable fan speed based on temperature. It appears it is not working, so I would recommend manually turning it up using MSI Afterburner. What is your PSU? It could be that the power supply is not able to power the fans and GPU at the same time.

I did previously attempt to create my own fan curve if that's what you mean, it didn't help. I'll try it again just in case. My psu is a CX600M by corsair, 600 watt power supply. I'm pretty sure it's more than enough.

How long have you had that PSU, it could be dying, and if that is the case, you need to turn off your computer as soon as you know that it is failing, and unplug your power supply, and just not use the computer until you have another power supply, as a faulty power supply can take other parts of your computer with it.

Definitely the best choice there to RMA.

Found THIS (note that the main comment in description is supposedly from MSI itself):

Basically says they're having failures of the FANS themselves and returning is the only option.

(Also says problem MAY be caused by the STICKER, though even if removing fixed I'd still send it in as the fan may still be damaged)

The main reason I'm concerned is because it was working fine since March 2015. I only began seeing this after I got my ultrawide monitor, but it didn't make sense.
