GTA V won't launch with mods on Windows 10

I just recently updated my OS from windows 7 to windows 10, and all of a sudden GTA V comes up with a "FATAL Error" and the game won't launch. I'm wondering if it's possible to even mod GTA on windows 10. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

If you used the upgrade option, where you launch the windows 10 install via the current OS you are using such as windows 7 to 10.

Then depending on what video card you have if fitted to the pci-e slot of your motherboard.
Remove the video driver, and install from either the Nvidia or Ati support and drivers section of there web pages.
The latest windows 10 video drivers for your card and the correct bit version of them depending on the bit version of windows you are running.

It should fix the error problem if you go to launch a game but you get a black screen then an exit with the message of fatal error in a small window on your main desktop ok.

I just reinstalled the driver using Nvidia's website, but I'm still getting the Script Hook V Critical Error message.
